Mickey Edwards is a giant 6ft 7" fast-bowler hailing from the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

It has been a fast rise to the spotlight for Mickey since making his 1st Grade debut with Manly Warringah in the 2012/13 season. He has won a First Grade Premiership, and represented NSW 2nd XI and Sydney Sixers teams.

Mickey was rewarded for his stellar season in 2014/15 and was signed with the Sydney Sixers for BBL|05 and also with NSW as one of their rookie players. His last two seasons have unfortunately been interrupted due to stress fractures, but is expected to be bowling again at the end of the 2016/17 season.

Mickey continues to impress all who come in contact with him both on and off the field. His down to earth and humorous persona mixed with a huge frame and long blonde hair make him truly a larger than life athlete.

He became an instant cult hero at the Australia v Pakistan Sydney Test match in January 2017 where he came on to the fields as a replacement fielder for Dave Warner. Click here to watch.
